Getting Started

  • What are Your Hours?
Our showrooms are open 9AM - 5PM Monday through Friday and Saturdays 10AM - 2PM. In order to make sure a designer is available to answer your questions, you can contact us on 844-REMODEL to schedule an appointment with us.
  • What is a Design Consultation?

A design consultation is a free complimentary meeting with a designer where we will learn more about each other. The meeting will last about an hour and will take place in our showroom. The client will learn more about the products we offer and our design process. The designer will ask questions to help to define the project scope, budget, and timeline. The primary purpose of the meeting is to ensure a good fit between the client and the designer.

If available, the client should bring some photos of their space, rough measurements, and information on their goals for the project.

  • Will Someone Come to my Home to Measure?

At the right time during the project if you are making a purchase, someone will come to your home to take measurements.  The first step however is a meeting in our showroom where we will work with you to gather information on your project. Once aligned on these items, if you are moving forward with a purchase of a countertop or paying a design retainer for a full remodel, someone will then come to your house to take measurements.

  • Do you Charge a Fee for the Design Retainer?

As part of our remodeling service we do charge a design retainer fee. Our design process involves meeting with clients to understand your style preferences. The designer then works with you to select materials that are aligned with the clients design style and budget. The designer will also come to the home to take measurements of your space, develop floor plans, elevations and perspective views showing all materials and accessories selected.

Our design retainer is $300. If you purchase a remodel from All in One Customer Renovations, 100% of the design retainer is applied to your purchase.

Installation Process

  • How Much will my Project Cost?

In order to give you a project cost, we will need to meet with you to define the project scope, materials to be used, size of the space, etc. If the project requires moving walls, electrical and/or plumbing this will be factored into the project cost.

Remember that kitchen, bathroom and basement remodels will add value to your home. Our designers will work with you to understand your budget and will keep your budget in mind when designing the project. You will have a contract that specifies the  materials, the labor, the price of the project, and information on when payments are due. We will go through all of this in detail with you before the project starts.

Sometimes unexpected surprises are found when we open a wall or there are times when as a homeowner you may identify a change you would like to incorporate after we sign the contract. Most experts recommend you set aside a little extra (up to 10% of the cost of the project) to cover these types of items should they occur.

In general, a complete bathroom remodel will range from $10,000 - $30,000 and a kitchen remodel will range from $15,000 - $50,000.

  • How Long Will My Project Take?

There are so many variables that go into the project schedule that it is difficult to give you a firm estimate without more information. We can provide you with some ranges that might help.

Cabinetry - Many of the cabinets lines we carry are made to order semi-custom or custom cabinets.  As the cabinetry is  made to order, lead times are generally 6-8 weeks.

Countertops - After a deposit on a countertop is made, we will work with the fabricator and the homeowner to schedule the template. Template is just a fancy word for a detailed laser measurement taken in your home In general, a template will be scheduled within 1-2 weeks. Following the template, the countertop is fabricated and then installed. Lead times for fabrication and installation are around 3-4 weeks.

Demolition - Demolition effort will vary based on the size and scope of your project. Demolition work can take anywhere from 1 day to two weeks. Rest assured that we will try to complete the work in a timely basis.

Installation - Installation of new materials ranges from approximately 4 weeks to 10 weeks. There are points in a project, for example between templating and installation of a countertop, where there are some wait times. We will do our best to keep things moving and keep you informed of the schedule.

  • What Should I Expect During Installation?

At All in One Custom Rennovations, we will manage your project from start to finish. After finalizing your material selections, we will order your materials, arrange for them materials to be delivered to your job site, and schedule and manage the installation of the items to complete your renovation project.

Our project team will keep you appraised of the status of your project and the planned schedule of any skilled trades working on the project. We also offer a web portal where information on the schedule and status of your project can be viewed.

  • What happens at Project Completion?

At the completion of your project, we will schedule a final walk-through to make sure that all items have been completed. Your final payment will be due at the final walk-through. We will schedule a photographer to come and take photos of your newly remodeled space.

You can now sit back and enjoy your newly remodeled space!
